Britestar Australia are looking for a highly motivated Installation Manager to oversee all installation operations within the business while actively supporting business development and revenue growth initiatives. This role blends operational leadership, project execution, and client-facing business development, ensuring installations are delivered safely, on time, and profitably while expanding market presence and customer relationships.
What you will be doing:
Lead and manage all installation activities, ensuring projects meet quality, safety, budget, and timeline requirements.
Oversee and assist as required with sales duties, including order taking, stock level management and delivery co-ordination.
Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise installation teams and subcontractors.
Develop and enforce installation standards, processes, and best practices whilst maintaining safety compliance.
Coordinate with operations, logistics, and project management teams to ensure materials, equipment, and labour are available as needed.
Measure and quote on site and quoting off a set of drawings relating the EER certificate or BASIX Report.
Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation including liaison with suppliers.
Resolve installation issues, escalations, and field challenges quickly and effectively.
Support business development efforts by assisting with site evaluations, technical input, and installation feasibility during the sales process.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners, builders, contractors, and other stakeholders.
Identify new market opportunities, referral sources, and expansion opportunities.
About You:
We are looking for someone who has at least 5 years experience in installation, construction, field operations or project management with sound knowledge in interpreting construction plans and being able to determine insulation requirements. You will be someone who has shown leadership experience through the management of field teams and subcontractors and the ability to manage multiple teams. You will pride yourself on being a team player who has displayed excellent communication, negotiation and relationship – building skills. In addition to your love for working in a team, you will have the ability to work independently and plan and organise your time to ensure you meet deadlines.
